We normally carry out such Office Refurbishment works on behalf of a landlord or tenant at the conclusion of a lease period. In essence, the building is put back into the same condition as it was before the tenant moved in. Anything that the tenant installed, or wore out, e.g. partitions, floor finishes, decoration, lighting, data installations etc, are removed and the original elements restored, so a comprehensive Office Fit-Out.
Installations like the electrical, heating and fire alarm systems are tested and certificated to make sure they operate properly and are safe. Sometimes the external elements such as roofs and decorated areas are also restored to how they were before the tenant moved in. Refurbishment usually occurs to an existing building or part of a building that already has existing elements within it e.g. suspended ceilings, lighting, heating, floor finishes, decoration etc, but over the years it has worn out, become outdated, or just in need of a complete change. It may not be all of the elements of the building that is replaced, but usually it is at least new carpets and decoration. Refurbishment can also be carried out to the external envelope of the building, as well as, or instead of, the inside.
